Liberia: Police Charges Journalist

Police in Monrovia have charged a Liberian news reporter Octavin Williams with several charges following attack on Deputy Inspector General of Police for Operations, Col. Abraham S. Kromah.

Mr. Williams who was examined by the Criminal activity Services Department of the Liberia National Police has been charged with Attack Assault and Disorderly Conduct.

Other charges include inappropriate vehicle parking, failing to cooperate with police and driving in the city without a driver license.

His action contravened the Criminal procedure and automobile and traffic rules of the Republic of Liberia.
